I don't have a regular blender, but I have a really good food processor and a really
good immersion blender.
A good immersion blender replaces a blender, whisk and various other kitchen tools.

immersion blender would be

This Sweet Potato, Chili and Lime Soup is so chock - full of the
good stuff, it literally burned up the
immersion blender.
Blend very
well with an
immersion blender, or pour the mixture back into your
blender canister and blend extremely
well; you want any lumps or curds that formed to be smoothed back into the mixture, and this takes a
good minute and a half with a hand
blender.
This time I used the food processor after cooking the asparagus and onion, then after adding the milk I ran the

Blend using your favorite method, I prefer a high speed
blender but an
immersion blender works as
well.
After pureeing the soup with an
immersion blender (
best kitchen tool ever by the way), add in the coconut milk and nutritional yeast.
Warm 1/2 cup of water on low heat and combine with the gelatin and mix
well (I use an
immersion blender for this)
But also works
well using an
immersion blender.
For a richer texture, add just a little coconut milk or other dairy free milk, and cream the mixture with an
immersion blender (this is what will do the
best job).
I use a handheld
immersion blender and a coffee grinder for the nuts, if you have a jug
blender that will do even
better.
