in your strength to empower me and he will thats is how we change. If we try and do it
in our strength we might succeed for a

of the enemy who is out to destroy our faith
in God and because
of our feelings we go and do the same things all over again. But we have a
better way and that is to trust the one who is able to overcome having been set free from my old life style

I join you on that almostawinner... but the same can be said
of that famous english core that we extended / signed a
couple of years back... Ramsey is a great player, can be world class but for that has to stop being so wasteful at times (bad / heavy first touch, killing counter attacks with the wrong choices, not shooting
well anymore the
way it looks, giving the ball away)... your not on Gerrard level at his
best Gibbs is a
good player but seems happy with his bit part role, doesn't look like he's crazy about pushing & challenging Montreal for a XI spot Ox, I still believe
in his talent but just no end product for an offensive player with his ability; he could be our version
of PFA Hazard / Costa... is it a lack
of confidence?
The sad truth is that we are just a
couple of players away from having a very strong starting 11... Wenger's fixation with Walcott and mertesakher as starting players remains a mystery to me... neither have the quality
of a top team like arsenal... I am not a giroud hater but he is still too inconsistent and the big question is whether welbeck can push him
in a
way Walcott won't... Campbell has done
well and has moved ahead
of Walcott and, ox for sure but there is still a question about how much more he can improve... Elneny is certainly an upgrade over arteta and flamini whether he will make it I don't know just hope that he does but arguably wenger could have been more ambitious... That leaves a top quality striking option... There is no doubt that wenger deluded himself over the summer and that needs to be corrected ASAP... Draxler dybala aube and even griezman with a big enough big could have been prized
in summer... january not a
good time for this but it is not difficult to find
better options than Walcott ox or Campbell... All a question
of whether wenger wants to win EPL on his terms or wants to win this for the club
Let's be honest there is no
way Leicester can do
better next year, as a player that only has a
couple of years left
in his career — why wouldn't he want to experience playing for a big club, earning top wages?
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety
of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style
of play has become a shadow
of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out
of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense
in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid
of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes
in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess
in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out
of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself
in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes
of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play
of Monreal, but none
of these players possess the skill - set required
in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio
of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (
better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no
way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling
in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a
couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit
better during some points
in the latter part
of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis
in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is
way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself
in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him
in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part
of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature
of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive
in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player
of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out
of position far too many times since arriving and that the players
in front
of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence
in Real or the space and protection he receives
in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived
in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components...
in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them
in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion
in a regular starting eleven; I would say that,
of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one
of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin
in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation...
in Sanchez, we get one
of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already
of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs
of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often
in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and
in many
ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and
way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack
of mobility is an albatross around the necks
of our offence... so when you ask who would be our
best starting 11, I don't have a clue because
of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place
in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
Also jimmy jazz again great name by the
way i think the fact were 6th
in ayer purchases and i agree without kane spurs would be below without kaneuckeu them for now but i see laca will be
better next year and auba will have had a taste
of the rigorous epl and because its a world cup year we need stability with wenger for atleast another year i think were vying for that spot and wi th cazorla coming back and hopfully Jack signs with a
couple good signings if we splash some cash and ozil already signed we could surprise the league next year with a very strong season and Leicester surprised apparently everybody but us cause we handled them
well that year but no one else dod and we finished second but i think its not so
good for a big club like us with internationals
in a world cup year to change managers do it
in a non world cup year cause you only have a
couple weeks with your players maybe less with some before season starts
Mustafi and elneny came out
well from this game... But ozil miki and aubemayang will determine whether the future is brighter if a new manager can work lacazette and wilshere
in to that combo and add a proper DM and a
couple of new defenders that can work together then we can move ahead... If wenger stays it will be more
of the same frustration as his fossilized ego gets
in the
way of the clubs progress..
watching my team against Ireland yesterday even tough we won i wasn, t impressedit, we only start playing with purpose when we go behind and when we, re
in front we slow down our play, i thought koscielny had a decent game with a
couple of good clearance and his job was made more difficult by adil rami who is a burden on the team and always one mistake away, giroud can, t be blamed for his first half performance the guy was starved
of any service and it, s only when griezman was moved to his favourite position that giroud started making the difference what a great assist, by the
way shane long dived for the penalty but that, s ok we are square now with the irish we had henry, s handball & they had the penalty!!
We lost so many games against top 4 teams
in the past
couple of years, that one win won't erase it all (let's not get ahead
of ourselves) but if we can keep getting such win by putting not only a fluid and great offensive display but also grit and composure
in defence; our win today and the
way it happened will be the first step
in the right direction... our
best players being fit will help too: it looks promising, as a GUNNER today I can celebrate and hoping for many more!!
I fully understand we just lost one game and uts not the end
of the world but am struggling to deal with is the consistent lack
of mental toughness that are the hallmarks
of all title winning teams... we need to be proactive and stop been reactionary, simples... we had what is
in all honesty a
good couple of matches begining
of the season WINNABLE games but we already fell short at the first hurdle now all the talk is about bouncing back, whatever happened to eyes on the ball straight from the off... a Westham side with a new manager, some new players and a 16 year old making his debut beating Arsenal at home is just plain disgraceful and whatever happens next does not
in any
way mitigate against that.....
What is the point
in playing him as Wenger says he needs time to get back to his
best, OK play him
in reserves for a
couple of weeks the
way he plays now he won't be missed.
He is playing really
well and I think can go 1,2 gear higher hes contributing the
way a # 10 should with assist and killer pass
in the final 3rd and a
couple of goals (Just need to assert himself more
in big games)... 2nd is Wilshere: talent is there, passion is there, tecnique, vision and
way more physical than Özil... but it all comes down to him being healthy and consistent I think he needs to make next season he's own and do just that and no need to buy... # 10 is where we have the most talent more than any team
in EPL
«We've had a

Arsenal Almunia 7 — Had little to do, but what he did do he did
well Sagna 7 — Lost the ball a
couple of times but reliable as ever Gallas 9 — Excellent game, this season will be an important one for the Frenchman and this was a great
way to start it Clichy 7 — Didn't put a foot wrong Fabregas 9 — Wonderful performance capped with a brace (Ramsey) 7 — The Welsh Cesc is coming along nicely Vermaelen 9 — An assured debut that left me forgetting about the absence
of Kolo Denilson 8 — Top notch display Song Billong 8 — Solid and measured Arshavin 8 — Kept going from the 1st to the final minute Van Persie 8 — No goals, but two assists and a hand
in an other (Eduardo) 7 — Lethal finisher showed what he is all about
in his cameo Bendtner 8 — Really impressed me and is continuing to improve every game (Eboue) 7 — Helped close out the game.
I'm thinking the Chiefs should cut Bailey and find a
couple of low - end veteran options who are
good at anchoring on run downs, then giving
way to linemen who are more dynamic
in passing situations.
It's the fans that keep sacrificing because this team can't get their head out
of their own ass... please give me some examples when a top club ever let their
best player leave for free at the end
of a season... Wenger needs to go to PSG and get some money and talent for Sanchez so that we can end this nonsense once and for all... then he needs to publicly apologize for the
way in which they handled the whole situation... if they allow Sanchez to go for free there is no
way this club, under the tutelage
of Kroenke and Wenger, will ever layout the necessary coin to replace such a talented player, especially considering that Wenger will be a lame - duck manager once again
in the final year
of his contract and we know how
well that went last year... open your eyes people, Wenger has spoken publicly about how he hopes that the next manager can take this club to the next level... WHAT?!?... he then went on to speak about leaving them
in the perfect position to be successful, which is one
of the reasons why several pundits felt Wenger would leave after last season based on the financials and the fact that so many players had only one year left on their respective contracts... who says this shit??? If you believe you're leaving things
in the
best possible shape for your potential successor to achieve greatness it raises a
couple of serious questions: Why can't you take things to the next level if everything is as great as you say?
Unfortunately as is often the Arsenal
way we managed to conspire to make the game difficult for ourselves, with a few minutes
of the first half remaining Ox found himself with the ball on the edge
of Everton's area, Hector available to his right and players closing, if he had managed to get a shot off first time then we would not have been chasing back towards our own goal five seconds later, instead Ox chose to shoot after a
couple of touches
in to a mass
of Everton bodies when there were
better options on, the ball broke to Delofeu who managed remarkably to stay on his feet for twenty or so yards before releasing Barkley, Koscielny had been dragged wide by Lukaku and Ox and Hector were
in hot pursuit, they both probably had a chance to take the booking but allowed Barkley to continue, he took a speculative shot which would not have troubled Cech until it took a big deflection off
of Gabriel and drifted into the gaping net.
Granted a
couple of calls that went Arsenal's
way shouldn't have (
in particular
Best's first «goal» — that should have been allowed, obviously), but the barrage
of horrible calls was unforgivable.
Interesting times - our second string showed themselves to be a
ways off the first team at the mo and loans would be helpful — we are really
well placed and if we had no injuries and all our
best players up to speed I think we would be the
best team
in the league this season - sadly that isnt the score so a
couple of smart purchases may bring the depth to make this a championship winning outfit.
