The trick to making
a good kale smoothie is to include lots of fruit to cover the taste of the kale.

I actually tend to do
kale in the blender as it doesn't yield much juice so I find it is
best in
smoothies.
As
well as being super healthy,
kale is also amazingly delicious —
kale chips are my all time favourite snack — and it makes a great addition to
smoothies and juices, as
well as pasta sauces, quinoa bowls and veggie bakes.
The
kale, berry acai
smoothie works really
well in a bowl!
Of course, if you're making a green
smoothie bowl, go heavy on the spinach or
kale, as
well as fresh herbs like mint and basil.

It's just my preference, but I've found curly
kale to be the
best for making baked
kale chips and more cost - effective for
smoothies.

I too have found

best bang for the buck greens, or any food for that matter, that you can add to a
smoothie.

kale can be a little difficult to break down in a

kale, apple, almond milk (or any other type of dairy free milk) and some protein like nuts / nut butter.
I make a
smoothie with lots of veggies, apples, pineapple, bananas,
kale, and some coconut water... takes my blender forever to get it smooth but it's
good!
Obviously not quite as healthy as eating
kale raw, say for example in a
smoothie, but definitely way
better than deep fried potatoes!
These
smoothie and juice recipes get their color naturally from
good things like fresh spinach, avocado,
kale, celery and matcha tea powder.
Just looking through your recipes gave me ideas to use some lettuces such as romaine and Bibb lettuce as
well as veggies like cucumbers and celery in place of the
kale and spinach I was using as my green
smoothie base veggies.

Now I know that almost everything is fine in moderation, and that sugar - free cookies and

well, pretty damn gross.

Really bad numbers started at -3.8, then getting
better 1 year later -3.6, 6 months later -3.5, it's slowly getting
better so I'm increasing my steamed
kale / organic, approx 2 cups a day, and using DK2 drops, lots of hiking up hills and stairs, and «core» exercises, tiny 1/4 coffee in morning, chocolate 1 time a week, also drink a glass of organic celery to start the morning and a
smoothie with all organic blueberries, brocolli, flax seed, chai seed, and nettles all
good mix with almond milk.
