Get your cocktail shaker out and add: Ice, 1 1/2 ounce
good tequila (like 1800 Reposado), 1/2 ounce Triple Sec or other
orange liqueur and the juice of one lemon.
Add carrot juice, vodka, Ginger Simple Syrup and
orange - flavored
liqueur; shake until
well mixed and chilled.
For frosting: Beat together butter and cream cheese; stir in
liqueur; gradually add powdered sugar, stirring
well after each addition and gradually adding the freshly - squeezed
orange juice; adjust powdered sugar and
orange juice amounts as needed for proper spreading consistency.
It's been brighten up with a
good dollop of
orange liqueur making it perfect for chilly winter weather.
Just because this is an infused mixture of wine, brandy, and
orange liqueur doesn't mean you can just throw anything in there and expect it to taste
good.
A
good bitter
orange liqueur decides beside of the spirit, if a cocktail becomes great or mediocre,,, It actually doesn't have to be Cointreau — my favorite is Patron Citronge, which is slightly less pronounced but also fruitier.
You can use other
orange liqueurs, such as Cointreau or Grand Marnier, but try adding a tablespoon or two of a
good aged rum as
well.
Add the cooled steeped milk, 1/4 cup
liqueur, and the
orange blossom water and stir gently until all the ingredients are
well incorporated.
