Instead, I am frantically trying to finish all the jobs that have been on my «to do list» for weeks, meet all the deadlines, finish writing up all the festive recipes for the blog, edit thousands of photos as well as balance the family life, business and a day job....

When I first started this food blog, I thought to myself that I would just focus on writing well; but I struggled terribly with taking good food photos.

The first thing that drew me in when I stumbled across her blog was her bright and pristine photos, and I was delighted that she offered tips and tutorials on how to achieve photos like hers, as well as learning more about your own DSRL and its manual controls.

But of course, vacations are the best spots to take a bunch of photos and have all the time in the world to blog, Instagram and do some serious damage on social media overload, amirite?

I bet you'll see most of these items coming up in new blog posts because I am planning on taking some outfit photos as well.

Well the weather here in NY has in fact reminded me of why I moved to LA... all of this rain and fog is raining on my parade (literally + figuratively haha)... I wanted to shoot blog photos and clearly that isn't happening:p But at least that leaves me plenty of time to cuddle up with Charlie!
