with to fast wingers who have goals and can get the line to take the pass to our target man (giroud or other)... because of that also is that wenger need a

pace and even
better dribbling skills... in that case i would go for isco or gotze

players out of position to accommodate a new arrival how about applying some tactical nous and allowing two talented
players to both play as strikers. The
best teams of 1998 - 2004 had a number of different strikers playing off the genius of Dennis Bergkamp. We had
pace, movement and power.Although I would not put Ozil in Bergkamps class he is talented enough to pull the strings

players with pace in the squad as strikers, many fans and myself feel we have
better opportunities to win games using this format,
with Welbeck as forward it even becomes more apparent, he has the skill sets to evolve into the Henry / Wright Hybrid.
IMO, diaby was to much gift than wilshere... the truth is wilshere jas a nice dribble an avereage pass and an awfull shoot... he has a lot of energy and playa
with his hearth... the last was the
best of his qualities... he is a fan, so he can die for the team... but talking about football quality, diaby was a lot
better... diaby was absoulutly outstanding each time he plays... inteligent
player, dribbling,
pace, strenght, great pass, great shot... losing him was a very low kick, one of those things that wenger was not guiltt but victim (one of just a few)
You could not be more wrong about comparing paulinho to gambau, he is a brazil national team starter FFS and against roma he wad surely missed

guy couldnt pass the ball wright, can not shot, not just he missing chances but he miss the ball all the time, slowing the tempo, no
pace no speed old story, on one on one no way he can pass the
player, dribble like my grandma... and you tell me how the guy
with this attributes can be no. 1 striker and play in the
best league in the world and probably one of the
best clubs in the world... as long as i am alive i would ask myself how giroud stray in arsenal and be no. 1 striker... even my little cousin make a jokes about him, its obvious like a day... guy is laughingstock!!!
Ramsay / xhaka pairing horrible, both
players want to go forward, neither has the leg speed to cover when they misplace a pass, wenger has to find that midfield that is more defensive
with good pace.

After seeing a couple of games where he featured and also the one for england he's got it all for me... 1) He has the physical ability to offer the kind of game that our Giroud offers (back to the net: deflecting, relaying passes and 1 - 2 touches) but also 2)
Pace, mobility and technical agility to offer so much more: dribbling past opponents (creating space), running / turning over defences either to lay down the killing pass to a
better placed
player or finishing a through ball from our over talented midfield and all that
with speed and 3) Tactical awareness, willingness to defend

OT: It looks like many of you on here believe that ST position is

Well let me put it like this WALCOTT is not a striker (maybe striker under study) what he has is pace and finishing that's all... we need a well established ST and not only a hot prospect... Secondly, I would have gone for wellbeck after 60 mins as Markovic was running riot Gibbs plus give bit of physical presence to the tall Hull
players but we have to wait until 82 mins to bring them ON.If we want a
good result in germany, we have to go
with Welbeck — Alexis and Theo (just cos
pace ahead of Iwobi) as bayer play lot
with the wing backs like Chelsea does.
He will not venture high up the pitch because his slow running back acceleration and poor long distance
pace will let him down, he most often pass the ball long and too quickly, this is also a problem for arsenal in a sense that he does not come out
with the ball and allow his
players enough time to take up
better position.
Yes, Theo has been a big
player for us
with his movement and
pace as
well as the goals, of course, but to risk losing him for a longer period to give us a batter chance in a match we should breeze through just seems daft.
Arteta has served us
well, he is not a DM but he has filled in that role
better than we could of asked off him BUT he is not a holding CM and
with the lack of
pace getting worse, he will only be made to look foolish by «top»
players and he doesn't deserve that.
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where
players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current
players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen
pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these
players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (
better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach
pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit
better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played
with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive
players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a
player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the
players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this
player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent
with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3
players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill
players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a
player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our
best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6
players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
When Bellerin first came into the side he not only defended
well but was always so dangerous going forward. His
pace and ability to go outside his marker gave us an attacking outlet that allowed us to play without a recognised right sided attacker which coincided
with Walcott getting less and less game time.We all thought this boy was going to turn into someone very special and so obviously did the management who apparently renewed his contract on a reputed # 100k per week. What have we seen since then?A
player that seems as indecisive and under coached as the rest of the defenders at the club.A
player that has rarely delivered a performance that reflected his initial early form.A
player whose body language seems to display his displeasure at being at our club when Barcelona reputedly offered # 40m for him in the close season.
Laca has a beard - so does Giroud.Other than the fact they are both French there is no comparison.Give this kid (yeah I know he's 26 but that's still young at my age) the service and he will be a top top player.Look at his movement and see how frustrated he gets as the ball continually goes from side to side and backwards.I see a lot of Ian Wright in this boy but even Wrighty would struggle
with the way we are set up and play. When Sánchez is gone he will become our main man and just watch the difference.Remember those days when the football was slick and fast?Remember when we had
pace all through the team and had
players who knew how to use it?When we change manager a bring in a coach who gets the
best from
players by playing to their strength you will see a totally different Lacazette and Arsenal
i think this could officially be the start of the end for wenger his blind arrogance has cause him to buy welbeck in the sheer belief that AGAINST THE ODDS HE CAN BEAT THE REST OF THE BIG 4
WITH ONE ARM BEHIND HIS BACK we should be buying top top top european c / l standard
players not sunderland spuds everton standard
players thats about welbecks standard of club in all truthful reality he is an honest hard working
player but wenger thinks he can coach the mediocrity out of him he is truely insane its a guaranteed source of goals we need not more fancy hold up play and «
pace» and missing chance after chance so the postman is to be joined by the manchester metro tram absolute disgrace he has kidded on ozil and sanchez they must be wondering what is going on atm they are seeing the true wenger now just panicking and not panicking very
well to that effect and for some reason wenger has gone all kinky for english
players for some strange reason at least chambers has great potential welbeck has past that stage and is a seasoned pro now and he is no where near what we need wenger is trying to show how great he is by whiping the back out of the same
players week after week in the vain hope that he can win the league without rotating ever and they will get injured and he wont have learned his lesson and we will pay for it in the end
best last day transfer would have been a 4 year contract for klopp
They play in a convincing way
with good pace and
with players who can make a difference like Mahrez and Vardy.
He has to be one of our
best players.Even if he is just used as an impact
player he can come on and change a game He can make things happen.I feel that the present line up is sterile and too predictable. To get the
best out of Giroud he needs
players with pace around him.
I'm thinking counter attacks and
players with pace busting a gut over 25 yards to get in between defenders and let Ozil do what he's
best at.
Henry spoke also about how Giroud needs the
players around him to bring out his
best and I can agree
with that, As Henry pointed out, Giroud has not the
pace or individual brilliance of a Suarez or a Messi but it is precisely the way he works
with his team mates that makes him so
good.
Theo Walcott has even told Arsenal
Player that he thinks his new team mate has become the role model for all the other Arsenal
players, as
well as bringing true quality to the team
with his technical ability,
pace, power, finishing and vision.
From the team that Played Gala i would just make one change, take out Cazorla and put in Hayden, we need a more defensive
player in that position, who is also
good on the ball, has god
pace and is more physical and keep our pacey three
with ozil behind them
Walcott have
pace, excelent positioning and speed but when he remain one on one
with the goalkeper, he doesn't score, doesn't gave composure and finising and many times when the ball come from up, he miss to stop the ball and ruin the chance.I like him very mutch and I whish him all the
good in the world us football
player, but he's already 26 and probably will not play anymore in our first XI, we can't bunch Ozil, Ramsey or Sanchez for him.He need to play, he need to leave.
i would not mind one or two more additions, Sissoko would have to be my number one selection, he would actually compliment Sanchez in attack
with his box to box ability and endless energy reserve, another
player i would grab up quickly if is cost was actually 2 million would be Edgar Mendez a winger who i think could be transformed into a dangerous striker, he has
pace to burn and has the built of a striker, wenger i think would be the right man to get the
best from him.
Monreal is not a CB and will never be one. He's just a consistent performer who will be exposed against
good teams and
good wingers because he's not a CB.Per is slow and needs a
player with decent
pace around him.All this means our defence is weak.
Welbz and Theo could be
good competition for the CF role and I would like to see how
well our attack could perform when they are use to having
pace upfront again instead of Giroud, I've tried my
best to support the guy but he makes it hard This season he has proved me wrong and I am also questioning his effect on the team, he does moan a lot to the other
players when he was the one who should of done more... If it was Alexis moaning then I could understand it as that guy plays
with 200 % passion but Giroud... Only time he shows passion is when he feels his starting spot is threatened.
Ozil is a class

The problem
with Xhaka is this, he tend to sit deep in his own half allowing the opposition
players time and space to get a
good run on him and hence test his sluggish acceleration and
pace, his also not prepared to get engage
with one on one chase
with attacking
players who runs at him
with the ball, he tend to foul the opposition
player and get yellow or even worst red card on a consistent bases.
