I'll admit that it's possible that, say, NAK or Sanheim come up and end up not representing big boosts (or more likely that they're just higher variance, in that they make some
plays that are a lot
better and potentially more rookie gaffes), but they'd have to be pretty goddamned bad to represent a big step
back from the players they'd be replacing.

I quite agree sell all the deadwoods but which player in his right mind would want to come to arsenal at the moment, remember people man u was in the same situation under moyes but we're able to attract
better player's even when not

from arsenal point of view is to tell players which they are trying to get what the plan is of getting

good enough and
play those who deserve some game time based on the Southampton game or on games where they had a positive impact: - Take Özil out and
play Ox in the hole (he has to understand your the highest paid player of the club, your given freedom like nobody else and your even seeking even more money with a new contract you can't
play like that ever and go AWOL)- Put Sanchez on the wing or up top but put Welbeck in (Walcott didn't track
back near enough for the Alsonso goal)- Iwobi has been bright
from the wing let him
play there - Xhaka has to go
back in the holding midfield role and I would take out Coquelin because he could've taken a foul on the hazard's goal.

The
best thing to happen over the next week
from an Arsenal fan's point of view would be for the manager of the Chile national team to err on the side of caution and not
play our striker Alexis Sanchez in their World Cup qualifier and for the former Barcelona star to arrive
back in London with a clean bill of health.
It's difficult to blame Ozil for the difficulties he's faced at Arsenal without looking at the big picture... like the fans, he too was lied to by Wenger... there is no doubt in my mind that he was told by Wenger that he was trying desperately to recreate our earlier success by acquiring players that fit the system he ran when Henry was in his prime... as we know this hasn't happened... in order for Ozl to flourish he needs some speed up front, forwards that can make intelligent runs, a boss in the midfield to compensate for his obvious defensive liabilities and defenders who can transition
from defence to offence quickly and efficiently... much like he had in Real and with the German National squad... unfortunately he ended up on a squad that has a striker who
plays with his
back to goal, very few intelligent runs into the box, minus Sanchez, no one to take pressure off him in the midfield, once Cazorla was injured, average defensive midfielders around him, which simply highlighted his lacking defensive qualities and defenders who lack the necessary cutting edge when it comes to transitional passing... instead of blaming Ozil, which is simply too easy, especially considering his mopey disposition, we should be asking ownership and / or Wenger why they brought him in if they didn't intend on doing what was necessary to get the
best from him... can you imagine Ozil
playing with the likes of Henry, Viera, Petit and Pires, it would be incredibly to watch and even more difficult to stop... so the only thing different between his experiences in Real and with the German team versus his time at Arsenal are the players around him and we all know who is in charge of making those decisions, the Grinch who stole soccer

I am hearing Alex Song is tracing with Arsenal and is a free agent after being released
from his club in Russia. He was excellent for us up until his final season and would be a
good addition if he sits in front of the
back four and concentrates on breaking up
play and feeding the players who are technically more gifted in front of him.Worth a shot till the end of the season do you think?

Having said that the biggest bonus
from playing Elneney was getting Ramsey
back on the right, he works so
well with Bellerin.
In all honesty Arsenal
played well we had very
good position with loads of chances and 13 corner kicks how come we are so crappy at scoring corners???? We need to start scoring the chances we get
from corners we could have easily beat southhampton by 4 goals but forster was
good he got the 3 points off us MR wenger should go
back to the drawing board as he has some options one of witch could the calling of welington silva or a reshuffle bring iwobi in elneny or new methods in tactics as in picking players and rehearse attacks strategy As for the referee I to felt done by him there was on particular foul on sanches that was not giving at the end we need to register our efforts and be clinical

This article I read on bleacherreport sums up what a fan who wants the club success would like to see
from than onwards: - Beat Bayern and progress above our mental block - Make top four and possibly as
good as last season finishing # 2 likely getting positive result in our 5 most difficult fixtures (Spurs, Man U, Man City, Everton, Liverpool) & taking
back some lost points - Ensuring we finish above any team in London except Chelsea of course - Win FA Cup
best chance of silverware - Win UCL long reach but beating Bayern could spur the team and maybe make them believe coupled with
playing any team except Barca, Real & Atletico in the round after and could we do a Chelsea 2012.
How can you
play a player with a ham string problem just
back from World Cup who gave no strength to the side it would be

played even
better.
Part of the issue is, now that Sanchez is
playing centrally, Monreal doesn't get much help defending

back well.
It's been all down to a shift in mindset
from one that lied to him that he's arrived just because he's Theo Walcott, England's youngest goalscorer and World Cup player and the
best thing since sliced bread and the entitled attitude that follows naturally [hence wanting to
play through the middle without first paying his dues on the wings, even Messi, Ronaldo, Henry, RVP and now Sanchez paid theirs] to one where he can see his career going down the drain highlighted by his Euro snub, a jolt of reality that got him to roll up his sleeves and gave us the Walcott we now see, the disciplined and commited player we no longer have to beg to track
back and visibly looking to improve all aspects of his game.
no competition in this team, ramsey is untouchable, he comes
back from injury and he displaces campbell who
played well in the last game.
Him and Sanchez are comming
back from a tournament, they'll be given time off to relax, but he has never
played in the league so, would have to adjust to that and get acclimatized to the teams
playing style, in the shortest amount of time going, personally i don't think he'll fair that
well its an enormous ask at the
best of times.
Monreal MOTM, monreal is not only our
best defender but also
best left
back in epl but obviously you cant see that because of where he came
from, it will be always monreal had
good game.Giroud had a lucky goal but you do nt flick the ball backwards when leading the line, I did nt see Aguero do that yesterday.Otherwise mancity bought the league already we are just
playing for our top sponsors
no one ordered the man to build a strike force around walcott and giroud or to put a quid on suarez «s asking price or to bring in nogo and park (or perez for that matter) or to sell gnabry and
play iwobi regularly or to have ramsey
playing in every position bar goalkeeper or to take 7 years to work out how to get the
best from Ox or to believe merteshaker was alright for the epl when he was way past his international sell by date or to forego a world class DM for 5 years and then plonk down 30 odd mill on an average swiss international or try out a series of makeshift right
backs and hope bellerin would maintain his earlier form and fitness... stan n`chips and co are certainly a shocking example of contemporary football ownership but on the pitch its all down to wenger and his delusions
@jibber... I don't know where you guys get this Ramsey excelled because of Ozil... Ramsey excelled because he stood up to be counted... He was
playing very
well at the
back end of 2012/2013 season, in 2013/2014 he just continued
from where he had left off..
Handing the ball off to running
back Marshawn Lynch is almost always their
best option
from play to
play.
Modric and Kroos can cope physically, tackle
well, break
plays, recover the ball and protect effectively the
back for (not necessarily
from set pieces and corners) and I can go on and on.
In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a
back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never
played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming
play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems
from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years
back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then
played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average players who couldn't make any of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no
good team can afford to have that many average players on their bench
playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure of this club to provide him with the necessary players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)
Hilarious ospina doing his
best to get our baxk four to
play the ball

back to him oh for a cb that can pick a pass!
For one day and one series, Tony came in and
from the first
play seemed to say, «Okay kiddies, Daddy's
back and it's time to show you how the game is meant to be
played» And still, Dak should probably start, because how can you justify busting up something that is doing so
well???? Unless they win the SB, the whole offseason is going to be nothing but one huge QB controversy.
At the same time that we are hearing
from the Arsenal and Spain star Santi Cazorla some hints that he might be going
back to Spain's La Liga to
play for his former club Villarreal at some point, there are the reports that the Gunners have not yet managed to persuade our two
best players to sign extensions to their current contracts.
Although there were some great performances
from Walcott, Oxlade - Chamberlain and Chambers, it's never
good to lose 3 - 4 at home on the opening day but we were short of defensive options as Chambers and Rob Holding (who also made his debut) were our centre -
back pairing who had never
played together before.
Ozil
plays his
best football when he can focus on his
good parts, he is not a player who puts pressure on the opposition for 90 mins and tracking
back etc, Ozil needs players behind him who can do that so he can use his intelligence in his pos, being able to drift away
from a marker and in a place to flick the ball onto an attacker...
I hope he brings Bellerin and Gibbs
back if they are fit.People seem to forget how consistent Gibbs has been over the past years.Injuries have halted his abilities a lot. When he was young i thought he was gonna be world class.Monreal inform ai nt
better than Gibbs inform.Debuchy has not won the battle yet to start at right
back hence he should come
back.Gabriel should have started over Per
from day one but for language barrier. Also Ramsey Cazorla and Ozil should not be
playing in the same team.
