It's difficult to blame Ozil for the difficulties he's faced at Arsenal without looking at the big picture... like the fans, he too was lied to by Wenger... there is no doubt in my mind that he was told by Wenger that he was trying desperately to recreate our earlier success by acquiring players that
fit the system he ran when Henry was in his prime... as we know this hasn't happened... in order for Ozl to flourish he needs some speed up front, forwards that can make intelligent runs, a boss in the midfield to compensate for his obvious defensive liabilities and defenders who can transition from defence to offence quickly and efficiently... much like he had in Real and with the German National squad... unfortunately he ended up on a squad that has a striker who plays with his back to goal, very few intelligent runs into the box, minus Sanchez, no one to take pressure off him in the midfield, once Cazorla was injured, average defensive midfielders around him, which simply highlighted his lacking defensive
qualities and defenders who lack the necessary cutting edge when it comes to transitional passing... instead
of blaming Ozil, which is simply too easy, especially considering his mopey disposition, we should be asking ownership and / or Wenger why they brought him in if they didn't intend on doing what was necessary to get the
best from him... can you imagine Ozil playing with the likes
of Henry, Viera, Petit and Pires, it would be incredibly to watch and even more difficult to stop... so the only thing different between his experiences in Real and with the German team versus his time at Arsenal are the players around him and we all know who is in charge
of making those decisions, the Grinch who stole soccer

well» — Not count on very injury prone players (Wilshere, Walcott, Ox, Welbeck), take them only as a bounce because they would never stay
fit... It is a dilemma because they are all
quality home grown players, so I can not say «get rid
of them all» — Give our smart attacking players (Sanchez, Cazorla, Ozil) what they need, a striker... that is a must — Strengthen the flank with another
quality because all the sights now on Sanchez — Get rid
of useless team players (Campbell, Flamini, yes they are useless) and replace them with
better players (promote or buy
good ones)-- Loan Chamber... 16M is too much to ruin
Big in your list I can agree that all these players would improve us, but let's look at our CB At the moment Kos, top player but is struggling with a inj which may or may not heal, at the moment he isn't match
fit so not up to his own high standard, so needs help or a defender
of his
quality so he can go and recover properly So then we have Mert, too slow and no longer
good enough, I'm not sure if he's even
good enough for 3 rd choice CB, too slow, poor on the air for his size and not brave enough, he's lasted this long due to Kos he needs a Top class CB just to allow him to play against average teams Ok now Reid not top class we can all agree so we couldn't really play him with MERT as he isn't Kos
quality so can't cover merits deficiencys He could be ok with Kos but Kos is struggling So is Reid what we need???? And finally Wenger if he has all 3
fit will still play Kos / Mert first choice Oh and God forbid we play MERT / Reid against the top teams like Chels / city / utd / Southampton Chuckle chuckle
I would prefer to sign him permanently in the summer rather than on loan in the winter. He is a great talent and could really shine in the epl with us.Yeah he is not the kind
of superstar that ozil was when we signed him but that does not mean that he is not a top
quality player. He could really be a
good fit into our team. But I can guarantee you that signing draxler alone next summer will not bring us the epl title. The squad needs strengthening in at least 2 - 3 positions to win the title in what could actually be wenger's farewell season.Going back to draxler though, without a doubt he will only make the squad stronger but I just hope that he is one
of the many players heading towards the emirates next season to help us win the title, regardless
of where MESU - LEXIS are cum next august....

fit the outside mid role
well in this formation (which, hey, maybe that's part
