I made Armenian nazook cookies which are similar but more work and was looking for
a good rugelach recipe.
That first photo is perhaps the single
best rugelach shot in the history of rugelach photography.

If so, this may be a
good substitute, but I never tried these
rugelach with anything other that cream cheese.
Homemade
rugelach is so much
better than the bakery variety, which is also tasty.
Probably the only relationship I have with my Jewish ancestors comes through
Rugelach, which apparently transcends the boundaries of culture and religion because it's just so damn
good.

well wrapped, for up to 2 weeks; let return to room temperature before serving.
Todays recipe is a bit different from that
rugelach, but is equally as
good.
November usually commences the
rugelach baking and I have to admit, I am pretty darn
