Without much focus put on the speaker on Asus's part, we weren't expecting much, but it's a perfectly
good tablet speaker.
The Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has
the best tablet speakers we've tested and would be a better bet if that's something you really care about.
Top volume is decent, but lacks the low - end bulk and power of
the best tablet speakers.

Speakers are mounted on the frot side faces (and they are pretty
good actually given their size, the sound quality is very
good for a
tablet).
In landscape mode, the two stereo
speakers are positioned at the top side edges of the
tablet keeping them
well away from being cupped and muffled by your hands as can be the case with some Android

The Dell ships with only a mono

good news: The $ 299 Asus ZenPad 3S 10 has a great screen and some beefy
speakers in a slim body, making it a
good choice for watching movies and reading comics.
They aren't the
best sounding
tablet speakers in the world, but they're
better than most, and more than
good enough for TV and movies.
Starting at $ 130, it has a traditional rectangular
tablet design, houses a comparable screen and, though not as powerful, its
speakers still sound
better than those on most
tablets.
Watching a film through Blinkbox Movies, sound has the directional quality to make audio sound more immersive and the detail is great as
well — stereo
speakers on a
tablet really are worth looking out for.
An Android
tablet will give you a sharper display and more responsive touch controls, a pico projector can get you a
better image and more ports, Amazon and Google both offer more responsive smart
speakers, and a 4K TV can give you plenty of options for streaming and connectivity.
Other Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0 specs include a 2MP front camera, a 5MP rear camera, 802.11 b / g / n Wi - Fi with Wi - Fi Direct, and Bluetooth 4.0, as

tablet speaker sound, with clear vocals but little bass of course.

speakers sounded surprisingly
good, among the
better I've heard on Android
tablets, far
better than iPad 2's single rear - facing
speaker.
But while you're there it's worth noting the dual stereo
speakers that sit at the top of one side for
good sound that isn't masked by holding the
tablet.
The only thing harder to find on a
tablet than
good speakers is a
good camera.
Speaker Quality (very

good and it makes the video experience even
better.
This is a competent and attractive
tablet, but we'd happily trade its thinness and lightness for a
better screen and beefier
speakers.
While the
tablet isn't pocketable and won't make for an MP3 player substitute by any means, the front facing
speakers are loud, delivering clear output and being on the front are
well placed to avoid hand or surface muffle.
Google's current Nexus
tablet is typically something we'd recommend as the
best tablet for grownups, but with its front - facing
speakers and killer 2048 x 1536 resolution display it's great for everyone.
They get pretty loud and sound
better than most
tablet speakers by virtue of their position alone, but obviously don't expect much in the way of bass response.
The Lenovo A10
Tablet really only has two things going for it: the $ 299 price and
better - than - average front - facing
speakers.
This is a pair of front - facing
