Comprised primarily of agriculture lands, homes (including some stunning luxury properties), and a few small beaches along Okanagan Lake, Naramata is a fun, laid back spot to venture out to every now and then when you're in the mood for a
little drive through some rather
gorgeous natural scenery (especially in the fall when all of the
trees in the orchards and vineyards are bursting with the fiery, rich hues of the season).
You see, our
trees are the most
gorgeous shades of yellow and orange right now, and my
little mini pumpkin collection in my office (because there is no room anywhere else) is just so cute, and the weather was so incredible last weekend.
After my dishes, I brought in my favorite
little faux olive
trees along with this
gorgeous white outdoor lantern to top off the table.
I set some greenery in the center to give it a
little pop of color and from there I arranged 5
gorgeous christmas
trees intermittently between the greenery.
If you'd like to add a
little something extra to the date, pack some wine, cheese and crackers and picnic under one of the park's
gorgeous leafy
trees — the perfect afternoon activity.
I dutifully obey the
little screen suction - cupped to the windshield, and soon we're climbing a sinuous road through the
trees, ascending a ridge that occasionally offers
gorgeous views.
Take a
little longer and stay in one of the
gorgeous guesthouses that dot this countryside, seriously chill out under the gigantic fig
trees and treat yourself and the family to a special experience.
