So, in an effort to switch up my
workout routine,
get a bigger and
better butt, and realize my childhood dream of pretending to be JLo, I decided to try her
workouts — known as some of the strictest in Hollywood — for a week.
Phil's
workout routine includes kickboxing, so I'm familiar with how much your core
gets used when boxing, but add in all the bobbing and weaving and throwing different combinations and working on footwork, and it's amazing how tired your core will
get — not to mention your shoulders and your legs (especially if you stay in a

routine done half - assed and inadequately.

Every
workout routine, no mater how
good it is, needs to be changed after a certain amount of time when the body
gets used to it and you can't milk any more gains from it.
So in order to build big arms it's
best that you build a
workout routine revolving around the three big lifts — the SQUAT, the DEADLIFT and the BENCH PRESS, and instead of doing 15 + sets of isolated biceps curls and triceps extensions that will just overtrain your arms, you could do a simple

get the poundage's up in time.

best way to do that would be to stop lifting so many heavy weights, stop eating so much food, cut a little bit of weight, and progress to more of a «body weight only» style

routine.
