You can usually get a discount at the end of the workday at farmers» markets and flea markets, when sellers are packing up their goods to take home, but would prefer to sell anything leftover at the last minute.

That person could have bought it innocently and at fair market value from a flea market, from someone who could have gotten it from someone who received it innocently as a gift, from a friend of a criminal fence, who may have bought it not innocently from a true thief.

It's a teak tea cart, I got mine at a steal at a flea market but here's a similar one!

I've got a ton of stuff, mostly painted furniture, in my booth at Eastbrook Flea Market.

But then I started seeing them at a local flea market for a bargain price, so that's where I'm going to get them from now on!

The three of us got together for a little fun in the sun at the Nashville Flea Market, and I thought I'd share some photos of the stuff we saw, here on our blog today.

I found my turkish towels at a local flea market, the same place I got my new rattan bookshelf.

And lastly, I picked up this little towel / trinket holder at the same flea market I got the toothbrusher holder at.

I bought three containers, and dumped varied amounts of it into three, red - lidded jars I got for $ 1 each at a flea market earlier this year.

anyway what i wanted to do most was go to the rosebowl flea market so we did got there bright and early and i was talking to a lady with a vintage lighting booth and she asked me where i was from and i said alabama and she said do you live near prattville and she said she followed your blog and told me to tell you you are known at the rose bowl flea market!

Just beyond that, in the back right corner of the room, I found a place for the military trunk Kathy also got at Eastbrook Flea Market:

In the living room, I mixed a flea market frame with a couple of new frames I got at Michaels for a crisp, collected look...

I got a whole box full of piano rolls last year at a flea market in Montgomery.

I got a whole set of the fish plates at a flea market last year, and just couldn't resist propping one up there, too...

The next day, while my Mom was at work, we got to work making over a couple of our flea market finds.

As I mentioned in my last post, I donated my white table and chairs to the Half Note Kitchen because I got a new (well, actually it's really old) set at a flea market a couple weeks ago.

I got mine for a deal at a flea market awhile back, there's a somewhat similar one at Serena and Lily!

What do you get when you find an iron planter at a flea market for TEN BUCKS, a hanging water hyacinth cone - shaped plant basket and an indoor plant that only requires low light and minimal watering?

And a chair I got at Eastbrook Flea Market for $ 35.

It's the top portion of an old apple - picking ladder - turned - towel / magazine / book holder, and I got it at the Nashville Flea Market for $ 10 a few years back.

Though I don't have an outdoor room, or much of a green thumb for that matter, I did get to big gardenia's at my local flea market this weekend and planted them (successfully) in my flower bed.
