Hi Dr. BBQ, I'm new to slow - smoked
cooking, so I've
got a copy of your
book on the way.
The way the
book is organized, you
get a glimpse into the homes of a range of home
cooks - musicians, writers, editors, florists - and they share recipes and inspiration from their tables.
BTW my sister gave me your
book just before a surgery I had, she knew it would give me inspiration to
get up and
get cooking afterwards.
That kind of feeling is what made me want so badly to
cook or bake something from «Feast» — despite having bought the
book in 2007 I don't use it very often, but I
get something delicious every time I do; These bars are no exception.
My
cooking friends will all be
getting this
book for their B - Days this year:)
Your first
book completely inspired me to
cook every day using natural ingedients, I can't wait to
get the new one.
I hit the
books when we
got home and offered a few suggestions based on an old copy of Bon Appetit and my handy How to
Cook Everything Vegetarian cookbok by, you guessed it, my food idol Mark Bittman.
