From his fullness [remember, the Word is of God and bears, not part of God, not just his breath, which conveys the spoken word, but all of God, all of his wholeness, his pleroma] we have all
received grace upon grace..
And after pondering briefly, gratitude welled up in me for three years of Hubs in grad school nearly over, a beautiful fall, and
grace upon grace throughout this pregnancy and especially this semester.
John 1:16,17 «16 For of His fullness we have all received, and
grace upon grace.
Wilderness and exile are never the final word; in fact, the final word in Jesus is
grace upon grace.
When he further describes Jesus» impact, he says that «from his fullness we have all received,
grace upon grace.»
And the Word (the Mind who is God) became Flesh and dwelt among us... and of his fullness we have all received, and
grace upon grace».
«From his fullness we have all received,
grace upon grace» (v. 16.).
I like to call this tip «
grace upon grace.»
