I had some of the tomato tortellini soup from the night before last and I made a ham and cheese panini on whole
grain bread on the side.

Here's my recipe: Heat your pan
on medium, brush coconut oil
on the outside of two slices of sprouted
grain bread, place one slice of
bread in the pan (oil
side down), add one serving of BabyBel Light cheese shredded or sliced
on the slice, and place the other slice of
bread on top with the oil
side out.
You can buy kelp or dulse flakes to sprinkle
on food, add dried kombu to soups and stews, add a
side of seaweed salad when you're at the sushi restaurant, and use nori wraps as an alternative to
bread or
grain - based wraps.
As a
side line to my post
on soaking
grains, after Day 2, I left 1/3 of my soaked
grains for further sprouting; The other 2/3 I separated out in order to stop their growth and dry for another
bread recipe.
Serve with the Arugula Salad
on the
side and some nice, fresh 12 -
grain bread.
I toast some whole
grain bread at the office and have a open - faced egg salad sandwiches with some sliced cucumbers and cherry tomatoes
on the
side.
I don't care much for dinner rolls or hearty pieces of
bread (unless it's a slice of
grain free french
bread served
on the
side of butternut squash soup), but I had a weakness for those cheddar bay biscuits.
