I've posted a lot of my favorite pancake recipes, all of which are

grain oats ground into flour as the base.

I don't know who coined the term (I can't claim credit for the pun - y name), but it seems the easiest way to describe what I
made, which was essentially a granola recipe that doesn't involve
oats (or any other
grain).
I have some raw sprouted pumpkin seed butter in the fridge that would be perfect for
making these, however I don't do well with rolled
grains as I prefer being able to soak my
grains first and then
make them into homemade flours in my ever - so - well - used Vita - mix — what could I used in place of the rolled
oats in this recipe (it sounds way to lovely to pass up
making so I'm hoping you have a suggestion!)?
Another friend seems to be allergic to
grains, not gluten — she can't even have gluten - free
oats (and if you are going to
make this delicious - sounding bread for someone who has coeliac, then you need to be sure that is what you have bought).

For the flours, I've only used coconut flour and homemade oat flour

But we absolutely love it and I especially love that it's mostly sweetened with fruit and is
made with whole
grain oats which I ground into flour.
I'm not supposed to have any
grains (other than
oats), so that has
made baking very difficult.
I usually just
make steel cut
oats in the slow cooker when I want overnight
grains - just stick it all in there at bedtime, and it's ready with just a stir in the morning!
