While the first coat of milk paint was drying, I painted
grain sack stripes on a piece of drop cloth left over from other projects.
Well... wait a minute... to be honest, exactly what I wanted was a fabulous European grain sack with an awesome
blue grain sack stripe down the middle.
One side of the duvet is the red and blue pattern and the other side is neutral with the look
of grain sack stripes.

Then it was time for
the grain sack stripes.
These grain sack stripes on these benches just makes me happy!
It turned out gorgeous Karen - I just painted a begere chair too - would have loved to include
a grain sack stripe but my fabric is textured - Love yours!

I love how you opened up the dresser and added
the grain sack stripes.
I have never seen anyone transform a dresser into a secretary before, Bravo!!!!! This turned out beautifully and I love

the grain sack stripes I used Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paintin the color Artissimo.
On my smaller pillow I had to place the seam close to the bottom in order to get
the grain sack stripes to show.

a grain sack stripe and a number, and when I asked for opinions on Facebook you guys were 50/50 whether you liked it or not.

You could always get plain white / cream and then paint
the grain sack stripes on.
So, I decided on
a grain sack stripe... perfect for my country style.
My favorite thing for this is the flat end of wooden skewers (I also used the skewers to create
my grain sack stripes that i'll show you a later in the post!)

This way, you'll be able to stop and double check that you haven't pulled too hard one direction on the fabric, thus causing the straight line of
the grain sack stripe to suddenly look crooked.
