As you may know, I
only post recipes I really like,
and if I am posting a recipe for
dairy free, gluten free scones, that are also
grain free, that's a good sign?
I know «spider» is in the name, but the
only spiders you'll be eating are the chocolate ones, dormant on Paleo, gluten - free,
dairy - free (with a vegan option), refined sugar - free, oil - free,
grain - free,
and clean eating cookies!
Gluten free,
grain free,
dairy free,
and only sweetened with good ol enzyme rich raw honey.
Not
only are these healthy, but they're also gluten free,
grain free, wheat free
and dairy free so they're allergy friendly as well!

and whatever else you crazies choose to deprive yourself of on any given day.

You can
only imagine how limiting my recipe options are given that I'm on the
dairy - free version of the specific carbohydrate diet
AND I can not have eggs...: — LRB - Elana, is it even possible to make a
grain - free bread without eggs or does it just defy the laws of physics, lol: — RRB - You'd have many grateful people thanking you if you could figure this one out!
Not
only is it delicious but it is entirely
grain - free (we can't eat gluten),

dairy - free if you use a different frosting recipe (which we do due to
dairy allergies).
But wait, not

i do nt take supplements, sugars (even fruits),
grains or
dairies... i stick to
only organic meats, fish
and all green veg which sounds the same / similar to the Paleo diet, although this is the first time i have come across it.
Unlike the people who think that we should eat
only what our Paleolithic ancestors ate (meat, vegetables, fruit, nuts, tubers) because that is what we are genetically adapted to eat, people who follow the teachings of Weston A. Price (see May 20, 2010 post) look to our more recent ancestors
and what they ate prior to the introduction of industrial foods in the 1800s, i.e. paleo foods plus
dairy products
and properly prepared
grain products.

My wife
and I have had great success following Dr Esselstyn's diet which means eliminating all meats,
dairy, eggs, processed foods, all oils, all nuts, sugary
and fruit drinks, smoothies, caffeinated coffee,
and even vegetables high in fat such as avacodos,
and only eating whole
grains such as 100 % whole wheat bread.

only dairy I consume outside of cheat meals is greek yogurt.
My changes in carbs with this experiment are no sugar, very little
dairy,
