- Nutrition labels for every recipe (so you can see how many calories,
grams of fat,
carbs, fiber, protein,
etc. are in each serving).
I don't personally count, but, some
of the people I serve do count, so I prefer to have answers for the doubters (lol) in terms
of how many
grams of carbs,
etc., are in any dish I serve.
I don't track
carbs (or calories,
grams of fat,
etc.) but you can plug the ingredients into a nutrition calculator and that should do the trick.
Run
of the mill «how to calculate your macros» articles seem to call for exact targets — you have to eat exactly this number
of calories, exactly this many
grams of carbs,
etc..
@Richard — when you write about subjects like «low
carb», VLC, can you please use numbers, like in
grams of carb per day average
etc. in order to avoid confusion about definitions?

carb load day could look like 150
grams of healthy
carbs from sweet potatoes, carrots, sprouted ancient grains, berries,
etc..
My fasting blood glucose seems better when I am consuming 70 - 80
grams of carb per day (no grain, limited fruit,
etc..)
