Set for release on April 16, the campaign add - on — and its follow - up DLC, The Brigmore Witches — will see players assume the role of Daud, the assassin who killed the Empress at the beginning of the main game,
granting access to his weapons, gadgets, allies and supernatural abilities as he sets out on a journey for redemption.

Players progress by completing objectives and eliminating opponents — this in turn levels them up,
granting access to newer
weapons, items, outfits and gears which are purchasable via «Gear points», these points are are earned during matches, as of today there are three different gametypes namely, Bounty Hunter (Team Deathmatch with a Fulton twist), Cloak and Dagger (MGS's version of Capture the Flag) and Comm Control (King of the Hill / Domination)- Konami has promised more gametypes
to be released as the months pass.
You run around and shoot people in the face with an assortment of generic
weapons like an assault rifle, shotgun or sniper rifle, all the while levelling up your character which
grants access to shiny new perks and skills.
It's this very reward system, though, that perhaps most eloquently demonstrates Hardline's wonky development: playing as the good cop
grants you
access to new and more powerful
weapons,
weapons that a bad cop who guns everyone down would use.
Levelling up
grants players
access to new
weapon skins, new characters, 13 crazy game mutators (a nice throwback
to the Unreal Tournament series), and a ton of medals and ribbons
to earn along with your achievements.
If you preorder the digital deluxe version, you can look forward
to all of the previously mentioned items as well as the games season pass, which will
grant access to all future DLC, and three original Dynasty Warriors
weapons: The Amethyst Iron Blade, The Crimson Ring Blade and The Jade Splendid Swords.
Unlocking new
weapons remains the same, as players earn kills and contribute
to their overall score they eventually level
to be
granted access to new features.
Additionally, players have
access to three class types and all abilities and
weapons from the start, and these can be further improved through the completion of challenges, which
grant attachments so as long as you keep playing, your character gets better.
Inside the case is a gold edition of Far Cry 5, which
grants players
access to all future DLC coming
to the game, along with a Digital Deluxe Pack that contains
weapons, vehicles, and outfits that players can use.
Blue gems can also be found at set intervals throughout the story, these
grant access to new variants of previous
weapons, such as «The Dentist», which allows the machine gun
to fire three times the amount of bullets which have the ability
to home in on a target.
A central «plaza» that connects
to all the different modes in the game also
grants access to a shopping center that lets players customize their
weapons and outfits with in - game currency.
The game also features a leveling - up system similar
to other shooters that
grants access to new
weapons with every couple of gained levels.
Before starting the main campaign, players can choose between three different types of exoskeletons, which
grant access to different
weapons and special abilities.
Blue Print Schematics, however,
grants players
access to new purchasable
weapons and T.E.C.H. at the Teletraan store, expanding the arsenal in the game quite a bit.
Diablo 3 finally
grants players
access to the Necromancer, Final Fantasy 15 releases dives into Prompto's backstory with its newest DLC, and Titanfall 2 receives its sixth add - on, The War Games, complete with two new maps, a third
weapon slot, and more — all on the very same day.
At level fifteen, you unlock
weapon swapping, which
grants access to a second set of six abilities you can switch
to at will.
Between the single player and multiplayer modes, the game
grants access to an extensive arsenal of
weapons and vehicles alongside the ability
to participate in various activities and sports.
