I had a look in the options
menu to see if I could make it any brighter, but there really isn't a lot in the options: resolution, three
settings for the
graphics options like shadows and texture quality, some audio sliders and a
setting that supposedly turned the story off.
A quick visit to the
graphics menu revealed that while FXAA was turned on, MSAA had been
set to the off position.
Set aside for a moment my
graphic design day job, too:
menu systems and general interface design can make or break local multiplayer experiences, as new players need to be able to dive in immediately, and they're also crucial to playing import games, as if it's done right, you know what each button and item does without having to understand any of the language.
At its higher
settings is a decent looking game for its $ 20 USD price but I feel the
menu's and
graphics are still a little outdated.
The options
menu lets you
set sound levels (for dialog, music, and effects),
graphics settings (for performance such as shadows and textures), and other game enhancements (whether subtitles are displayed, whether hotspots can be highlighted, and how the inventory is displayed).
Graphics quality
settings can be changed in the
settings menu.
After exiting back to the main
menu and dropping my
graphics settings to low (I'm running higher specs than the ones recommended), I jumped back in.
Furthermore, the in - game options
menus give you full control over VSync, refresh rates, key binds, the field of view, aspect ratios (including 21:9), mouse acceleration, mouse and controller sensitivity, and of course,
graphics settings.
The general
settings menu of Gears of War 4 comes packed with a lot of stuff, and the advanced

The Recent feature's app shortcut and
settings menu icon has been updated to reflect the
graphic used in the Google app's bottom bar.

settings menu of the game you're playing and see if it's possible to reduce the
