Put 3 eggs, half the milk and cream mixture, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, 1/8 teaspoon pepper and 3
gratings of nutmeg
in a
blender and blend on low speed about 5 seconds to mix thoroughly, then increase the speed to high and blend until the batter is light and foamy, about 30 seconds.
For the stir - fry recipes, I do
grate or chop it fine (wear gloves and
put it onto a paper towel or special cutting board) It is much easier to just
put the root
in the
blender, as trying to cut it and peel it stains everything it touches!
Instructions:
Put the herbs, garlic and
grated lemon zest
in a
blender or food processor.
If you're not sure your
blender can handle whole this, you can simply
grate the carrots and apple on a box grater before
putting them
in the
blender.
