My floor to ceilings brick fireplace is kind of a dark taupe / mauve /
gray look right now, and I am wanting to try a lighter paint wash on it in spring, more of a cream / warm tan look, inspired by the natural stone on the hirstorical homes in we saw on our trip to Philadelphia, wish me luck!

I have been

gray paint to it and it came out to the thin thinner consistency so I painted it white and the

looks like the matte one is a * little * more ivory - colored (which isn't quite
right), so it'll probably be the glossy one on the bottom with a
gray - colored grout.
