One thing I know for sure: You can not make the leap from good to
great in your
professional career
as an
administrative assistant or executive assistant (or similar title) unless you have some criteria in mind of what you believe is a
great administrative professional.
As a working
administrative professional, you get to think: «Well, yea I have been doing it the best way possible all these years» or «Ooooh... what a
great way to do that task.
As I said earlier, you can not even know if you are a good or
great administrative professional if you have never given thought to what differentiates the two ratings and which one you want to be.
So it's not always about what you think is a
great skill to use and learn
as an
administrative professional but what the hiring managers and executives want in your skill set.
