While I have to say that I think some Arsenal fans as well as a lot of football pundits are way too hard on the Gunners» German international star Mesut Ozil, the fact is that his recent record of providing assists,
at club level at least, is not too
great.
The Daily Mirror state that Akpom's contract will be the biggest Arsenal have ever offered to a player of the striker's age — despite him having yet to score a goal

great future ahead of him.
Regardless of what he said his intention is not to enable the
club to compete
at the higher
levels as he takes cash from the
club but adds nothing by way of real investment, He's NOT the only culprit though the rest of the baord are as complicate in this as Silent stan The idea that the author is prpomoting is a
great idea if there was any cohesion between the fans groups and someone who had enough capitol to back it up into some action, sadly we live in a world where 80 % of the worlds wealth is controlled by 20 % of the worlds population and silent stan is one of those 20 % he ai nt going anywhere any time soon and thats the sad fact.
nice to see you crawl out of your hole just in time to offer your 2 cents worth once again... unlike yourself I started following this team long before Wenger arrived on the scene and will continue to do so long after he's gone... in his earlier years I admired the cerebral elements he brought to the EPL, which
at that point was more brutish than beautiful, and I respected the seemingly tireless efforts of Arsene, Dein & staff to uncover and develop talent without sacrificing the product on the field... likewise I appreciated that such a youthful manager wasn't afraid to bring strong personalities and / or world - class players into the fold without being fearful of how said players would potentially undermine and / or dilute his authority... unfortunately this all changed about 10 years ago and culminated in the removal of all our
greatest players, both young and old, without any real replacements coming in... from Henry to RVP to Fabergas and Nasri, it was easy to see that this
club was no longer interested in competing
at the highest
levels... instead of being honest, minus the ridiculous claims regarding the new stadium, Wenger chose to side with management and in doing so became the «front man» for this corporation pretending to be a world - class soccer
club... without the «front man» this organization would have been exposed numerous years earlier, so his presence was imperative if the facade was to continue... it's for this reason and more that I despise what this once
great man and Kroenke has done to my beloved
club... the gutless, shameful and manipulative way they have treated the fans, like myself, is largely indefensible and this is why I felt it necessary to start offering my opinion in a public format... trust me, I resisted the temptation for many years but as long as the same shit continues to exist I will voice my opinions and if you don't like it maybe you should look for a different team to pretend to follow
Yes, there is a
great demand for success amongst the top
clubs because the game
at that
level generates ludicrous amounts of money no small part of which comes from fans pockets.
sorry this is a bit of the subject does anyone know what the situation with our overall debt is
at the moment and what our repayments are i was under the impression that we are
at about the # 245 million mark gross debt and about # 97 net debt are the stadium repayments lower now or something is the bonds interest dropped lower inprice we were paying something like # 20 - # 30 million in repayments but heard its down to about # 15 million per yr now i know we will have broken throught the # 300 million mark in revenue now i am guessing that contributes more to the transfer funds or if not what makes up the transfer funds in the
club i.e deals or match day revenue plus cash in the bank which stands
at a high
level but must be just in case we might default on a payment we need heavy cash in hand to bail us out this side of the
club really intrigues me as it is not a much talked about subject unless you are into that type of area of work or care about the general fianacial outcome of the
club does anyone have more insight into our finances would be
great to hear from anyone about this matter cheers gonerwineverything (because we are)
It ain't the cause of our problems but Increased noise

club to show that he does still have the ability the Arsenal fans were treated to, and the Euros will be a
great shop window for him toprove to suitors that he can stillplay

level.
why was Sanchez truly playing... no one believes he was too injured to play to start the season, and some like myself would go as far to suggest he wasn't injured
at all... so why play him... they can't say it was to appease the fans because when was that ever a factor
at this
club except when «panic buys» were in the offing... I believe that this was to give Arsenal a little leverage when it comes to negotiating his transfer... just imagine their horrible bargaining position if Sanchez never saw the field before the deadline then heading back to South America and played for Chile... regardless of the facts, this was sadly again another example of a team putting business ahead of fielding a team with the
greatest chance to secure 3 points... of course, some will say that Sanchez is, or was, our best player, so obviously he's a no - brainer to start, but those who really watch the game know that his heart hasn't been truly in it for quite some time... even
at the end of last season you could see a definitive difference between the Sanchez who played for Chile and the one that played for Arsenal... that being said, 70 % of Sanchez is still better than a 100 % of the vast majority of our remaining roster... shame on you Arsene and shame on you too Sanchez for that telling smirk... level but don't pretend for a second that you didn't know you were being watched... don't lower your standards or you'll end up like this
club, on the outside looking in

We must change things are board
level because someone there must have an issue with spending money,
great finacial figures released by Arsenal again & we spend 5 million in the transfer window & to be fair spent little in the summer too in comparsion to everyone else, all we get is it is not easy to find you players & I take on board some of what Wengers says but
at this stage we must bring in someone to help him because he is ntrying to do too much
at the
club & I would gladly through my hat in the ring to be come head of purchasing but I have a feeling they would not let me spend a penny HELP WANTED to improve the same old story
It's the fans that keep sacrificing because this team can't get their head out of their own ass... please give me some examples when a top
club ever let their best player leave for free
at the end of a season... Wenger needs to go to PSG and get some money and talent for Sanchez so that we can end this nonsense once and for all... then he needs to publicly apologize for the way in which they handled the whole situation... if they allow Sanchez to go for free there is no way this
club, under the tutelage of Kroenke and Wenger, will ever layout the necessary coin to replace such a talented player, especially considering that Wenger will be a lame - duck manager once again in the final year of his contract and we know how well that went last year... open your eyes people, Wenger has spoken publicly about how he hopes that the next manager can take this
club to the next
level... WHAT?!?... he then went on to speak about leaving them in the perfect position to be successful, which is one of the reasons why several pundits felt Wenger would leave after last season based on the financials and the fact that so many players had only one year left on their respective contracts... who says this shit??? If you believe you're leaving things in the best possible shape for your potential successor to achieve greatness it raises a couple of serious questions: Why can't you take things to the next
level if everything is as
great as you say?

I am not convinced he wants the hard work
at our
level its much easier
at bigger
clubs where you have other top players to take the strain, and I think that's what Barca have found, If he wants to come than he is an better player than Nolan and Noble but Kouyate is as good and hungry, Alfitano I like, Nene not seen enough to judge but that's not his fault, Zarate will be back and if he nuckles down under a new manager should stay and be a good squad member but unless he ups his work rate will not be a regular starter, Rav we will just have to watch grow to
