As many others have said this movie is filled with cliches, but I think they are overcome by the
character driven plot and
great classic rock.
Lots of
classic,
great characters like Yoda, Han Solo,
Classic Feeling with Balance and Sound — The feeling you get from blasting your first Hadouken all those years ago is still intact here as
great as it was but they went back and balanced out the
characters more.
Real - life stuntwoman Zoe Bell (who doubled for Uma Thurman in «Kill Bill» and Lucy Lawless in «Xena: Warrior Princess») and Tracie Thoms (whose role would have been played by Pam Grier or Samuel L. Jackson in any other movie) deliver
great performances throughout their half of the film, but it's Kurt Russell who walks away with «Death Proof» as Stuntman Mike, yet another excellent addition to his rogue's gallery of
classic characters.
Fans of the
characters will obviously find the most joy out of this game, but as a true love letter to
classic gaming by combining many of the tropes that defined the era, Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures really is a
great game all by itself.
Based the outstanding novel by William Peter Blatty, which was turned into the
classic film directed by William Friedkin, THE EXORCIST has all the potential to be a
great TV show, as it can explore the
characters over time and have a very slow build up.
The supporting cast is what makes it watchable after all these years with the likes of Margot Kidder, Jackie Cooper, Glenn Ford, Gene Hackman, and Marlon f**king Brando giving

I consider it a real revival of what made the series
