What I think makes
a great food photo is color and texture, I cook with a lot of fruits and vegetables so I really try to make them the focus of my photos, fruits and veggies are very photogenic and make pretty pictures in my opinion.
It's not as hard as you think to take
a great food photo — but it's pretty easy to take a bad one, too!
Not exact matches
Photos of beautiful work or yummy
food can be both pleasing to the eye and a
great promotion.
I get a lot of questions about
food photography and how I learnt to take all the
photos on my blog so I thought this would be a
great topic for todays post!
But not all of my
food photos are
great or even good, particularly the ones taken during my first six months.
As much as I love
food photography and love it when my
photos come out looking
great, it's also the bane of my existence!
to be my main source of income, my biggest goal is to be able to earn a living from my passion, which is still creating and taking
photos of
great vegan
food.
I see all these
photos on
Food Gawker of soups and just think, dang, it's too hot for this stuff... so this looks
great!
Nothing like a
great group of blogger - friends to spend brunch with, chatting about grocery stores,
food photos, and twitter hashtags.
This blog post is so beautiful, the
photos are amazing, the
food... ah the
food,
great recipe and you described so well and romantic Italian way of life and the magic of Autumn.
For
great photos,
great food,
great ideas!
And they do come out just like the
photos — I don't use any fancy, phony «
food styling» tricks that look
great but make it inedible.

Great photo... it really makes this recipe look appealing (which isn't easy to do with brown, loaf

greatest respect for
food stylists and photographers and
photo editors who make the perfect crease in a napkin, get the lighting and shadows just so, and finish the
photos with the perfect finesse.

Yes definitely it's a
great idea to freeze it:) I would mix it all up — maybe go for a finer texture than I show on the
photos so definitely use a
food processor and pulse the mix a few times.

Instead, I am going to share some

GREAT food enjoyed at the conference.

A quick glance on twitter reveals many
photos of
great school
food, from classic roasts to glorious rainbow coloured salad bars.
If you were a TLT Facebook fan, you would also have gotten tons of
great tips for nutritious - but - not - too - messy car snacks for kids (thanks, readers, for responding), some good school
food news out of Minnesota, news about the pending school
food regulations, and a cute
photo of a TLT reader holding her very own vintage TLT lunch tray, won in a recent giveaway.
However, I don't feel that the book is a definitive guide for starting solid
foods - it's got
great pretty
photos, but it is light on specifics (or could present them in a more easy - to - read way).
One of the winners is someone I've been following for quite some time, as she not only posts
great healthy recipes but adds a fun little flair to her
food photos with her mini panda accents.
