I think the in - person groups — I went to Robin Support Group, and that was
great, but then the everyday connection
with people, and seeing things, and being able to see how people manage their
breastfeeding in public issues — I just think that
helped a lot, just the consistency, normalizing it, making it part of everyday life versus once a week I go to this group and I can just
breastfeed.
Our SnuzPod co-sleeper cot which attaches to the side of your bed so the baby's right there, was
great for
helping with breastfeeding and I miss it now.
Being able to continue

help of expressed milk gives you a

Seeking
help with breastfeeding is a
great idea if you have questions or concerns.
And forcing mothers to be alone
with their babies for the first 48 hours (without the
help of husbands or grandmothers at night or the ability to legally sleep in bed
with your baby) is a
great way to exhaust mothers and impede recovery and
breastfeeding itself in some cases, especially for those who have C sections.
We know it's not going to
help towards larger world issues in life but we do hope that through the power of photography and social sharing, this campaign can make a positive change on the perspective on
breastfeeding, quell negativity but most importantly, boost body confidence & empower more mums to
breastfeed in public
with ease & nurse in style whilst feeling
great doing so!
Breastfeeding can be a lot of work, but it's a
great way to bond
with your baby and
help him stay healthy.
And so it's such a
great way of
helping these moms
with younger babies get over their fears because they see all these other women
breastfeeding in public and it's no big deal so I just think you know power and numbers to like it definitely
helps you overcome your fear if you're not the only one doing it.
The things she does for a client are cook big meals (including some to freeze), cleaning bathrooms and kitchens and floors, doing laundry, addressing birth announcements,
helping with simple
breastfeeding problems (like positioning problems) and
helping you decide if it's serious enough to call the lactation consultant about or if you can wait for the
breastfeeding support group in a few days, holding the baby while you nap or take a shower, playing
with older children, fielding phone calls from family and friends,
helping look up odd things in the baby book, dialing the pediatrician, and telling you you're doing a
great job.

great job for someone who wants to
help you during the first week or so, but doesn't know exactly what to do (like a partner or MIL who has no experience
with breastfeeding).
