Pillars of Eternity II Deadfire plays it safe just like its predecessor, and it has a worse main storyline, but it compensates with a
greater and richer world to explore, better friendly AI, a refined combat system and much better

side stories featuring the secondary characters from previous outings are a
great payoff to their own continuity.

side quests don't feel tacked on like they would in other games, they feel integral to the experience and do a
great job of expanding the world of Evil Within and what's going on in more subtle and unique ways.
With a deep main
quest and myriad
side quests to choose from or ignore, PoE offers some of the longest play time and
greatest replayability in the genre.

Great looking game with a setting full of character, good fun, plenty of variety in the missions and an assortment of
side quests and distractions.

great stuff, and it's quite refreshing to play a game that looks for all the world like an 8 - bit top - down Zelda - style action - RPG, but with no character progression, no
