I love to see the success
stories of writers who are
great at running their own businesses, because it gives me
hope that if I decide to go this route, the path is well paved with
great writers who produce high quality work, rather than just clicking «publish» after typing «the end» which has always irritated me.
This is a
great story of love, tragedy, and
hope.
The beauty
of the
story lies in
Hope's ability to create
great depth and feeling from small moments.
Jamel Brinkley's
stories reflect the tenderness and vulnerability
of black men and boys whose
hopes sometimes betray them, especially in a world shaped by race, gender, and class - where luck may be the
greatest fiction
of all.
As I worked on this novel (which, incidentally, I was sure would never see the light
of day), I always told my husband that my
greatest hope was just to write a good
story.
I
hope he continues this series, as it's a
great resource for all
of us fantasy writers (by the way, if you haven't checked out his blog yet, you should do so for his
great tips on writing rounded characters, his fun fantasy short
stories and a lot more).
I'm a huge fan
of self - published creators and
hope to introduce
great stories to new fans, promote a creator's work and have a chance to rave about some favourites.
So even though we have high
hopes for all these stocks, because their fundamental growth
stories offer the potential
of great future earnings growth, you take any news about your stock with a grain
of salt.
It has a
great noir edge to it, so I came into the game with faint
hopes of a
story that could hold my interest as much as the first time I watched Se7en, and while the game doesn't begin to touch David Fincher's masterpiece (despite a few nods throughout), I left feeling a whole lot more satisfied than I thought I would.
As mentioned previously the visuals are certainly impressive, and for anyone
hoping to walk around some
of the finest worlds and moons
of the one
of the best sci - fi universes, Star Wars Battlefront II is a
great recreation, but from the very first mission to the very last, mission pacing is excessively slow, the set pieces — whilst stunning — are predictable and the
story is nothing more than the typical revenge plot we've seen so many times before.
The has process is fascinating to look into and seeing these artists and engineers hard at work on a labor
of love gives me even more
hope that the end
of Nathan Drake's
story will be a
great one.
A mix
of horror and psychological thriller, this game
hopes to build off a
story that was not as amazing as many horror fans would have liked but has potential to be
great.
Even though Guns, Gore & Cannoli is an indie - game we
hope it will be a
great experience for players, we really did an effort the come up with a nice
story with cool dialogues and cut - scenes to add to the action and fun
of the gameplay.
I
hope that in 50 years time as Australians swelter in debilitating heatwaves, battle fierce bushfires, fight over dwindling water resources, lament the loss
of unique species and tell
stories recalling the wonders
of the
Great Barrier Reef, they will be reminded
of the names
of those who refused to act in the face
of overwhelming evidence
of what lay ahead.
At this point, our best
hopes are perhaps that we can see and understand the problem well enough that we can salvage some remnant
of what once was as the system rolls over in one
of the
great changes in the history
of life and as we enter not just a new chapter, and not even just a new volume, but a new book in the
story of life on earth.
