Perfectionists can become so paralyzed by their
fear of not being able to meet goals that they will often not take
greater risks, preferring to be perfect at what they know they can achieve rather than take the risk that an endeavor may
fail.
While the thought
of failing can ignite
fear and anxiety in everyone, these mishaps can be some
of the
greatest lessons in life.
I
failed to understand that the
fears in the market concerning banking were so
great that the fundamental improvements in the economy, the industry, and companies like Bank
of America and Citigroup would simply be ignored.

fear of disappointing Jesus is much
greater than my
fear of failing at something I try for Him.
With the current economic crisis,
fear of global warming, and
failing environment, this year's Buy Nothing Day has a
greater sense
of urgency.
In the U.S., where the
fear of failure is not as acute as in the U.K., a
failed venture is considered a
great learning experience, and a success in its own right.
Students who are bullied often
fail to report it out
of fear of becoming a
greater target, or because they may be uncomfortable coming forward.

Delivering a presentation in front
of a live audience demands a
great deal
of self - confidence that allows the orator to overcome his
fears of failing.
While many
of you will probably acknowledge this, your

greater than your excitement about succeeding.
