ischemic attack (TIA) of unknown etiology, which accounts for one - third of these patients, the deCODE AF ™ test may determine which patients are at
greater risk of AF and therefore may most likely benefit from extended cardiac monitoring for AF.
While as little as a weekly serving of fish lowers risk of
ischemic stroke, enjoying a daily serving omega -3-rich fish, such as scallops, provides significantly
greater reduction in the risk of coronary heart disease than eating fish even as frequently as a couple of times a week, show the findings of a study published in the January 17, 2006 issue of Circulation, the journal of the American Heart Association.
