Cesc could have gone back to
Arsenal after leaving Barca but Wenger did not buy him back when he had him in a silver platter... there is a
greater need for Cesc now with Santi, Jack and Rosicky out / poor form / retired
than back then but Wenger should never have allowed this transfer to happen for simply NOT letting Chelsea get stronger, we had enough room in the squad roster back then anyway and he could have sent Jack on loan that season and common sense also said Rosicky was almost at the end of his career so Cesc would have played a lot anyway.

If the
Arsenal transfer rumours are true then it is hardly surprising that the

than the Germany international.

I support you on the fact that Araenal need a player who can make an immediate impact. However, it's also naive to try to create an impression that he's going to fail due to similar playing style and stature of the players you mentioned above.Even Eduardo would have world class and possibly better
than Van Persie if not for his leg breaking. It's likely Mbappe is going to succeed and if he gets signed up by another club we'll be chasing him on the future. The same gamble being taken on Mbappe is the same that was taken on Henry. If Henry had failed I don't think
Arsenal would've been this
great club today. This is a very similar situation to Mbappe.Weneed players now to have an immediate impact but we should not be inclined to think Mbappe would fail if
Arsenal should sign him.
The young Argentine didn't have a
great deal to do this afternoon, but deserves some credit as
Arsenal's defence looked somewhat more organised and solid
than usual.
why was Sanchez truly playing... no one believes he was too injured to play to start the season, and some like myself would go as far to suggest he wasn't injured at all... so why play him... they can't say it was to appease the fans because when was that ever a factor at this club except when «panic buys» were in the offing... I believe that this was to give
Arsenal a little leverage when it comes to negotiating his transfer... just imagine their horrible bargaining position if Sanchez never saw the field before the deadline then heading back to South America and played for Chile... regardless of the facts, this was sadly again another example of a team putting business ahead of fielding a team with the
greatest chance to secure 3 points... of course, some will say that Sanchez is, or was, our best player, so obviously he's a no - brainer to start, but those who really watch the game know that his heart hasn't been truly in it for quite some time... even at the end of last season you could see a definitive difference between the Sanchez who played for Chile and the one that played for
Arsenal... that being said, 70 % of Sanchez is still better
than a 100 % of the vast majority of our remaining roster... shame on you Arsene and shame on you too Sanchez for that telling smirk... I've supported your attempt to push this squad to the next level but don't pretend for a second that you didn't know you were being watched... don't lower your standards or you'll end up like this club, on the outside looking in
When I saw his huge frame sat on the bench in the Singapore match with all the
