than - ever focus on digital publishing at this year's Frankfurt Book Fair, several companies took advantage of the attendance and industry focus to launch or offer sneak previews of their
ereaders and tablets.
It's a
great eReader, but rather
than hardware I'm hoping their working on a eBook subscription service.
160 ppi isn't
great but it's not horrible, better
than 150 ppi on the 9.7 - inch and 13.3 - inch
ereaders.
Not only are they still here but they developed a new
great ereader better
than the paperwhite in fact.
So it's still not
great especially comparing to other
ereaders I own but a lot better
than the tests I ran yesterday on it and all I did was restart it which is pretty crazy I think.
And it still looks
great, with
greater contrast and improved rendering of text
than you'd see in older
ereader models.
The
eReader for iPad application will compete with Barnes & Noble's own Nook e-reader, but the company sees a
greater advantage in selling books themselves — both the printed variety and e-books —
than focusing on sales of a single e-reader.
The 8 GB Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet has half the storage of the original, but still offers a
great eReading experience, high - quality display, and smooth performance for less
than $ 200.
AND before you say why not just read a regular book then ha ha,
ereaders can store more books
than I could possibly carry,

While Barnes & Noble (NYSE: BKS) is frantically scrambling to establish their product line as not just an
eReader, Amazon seems to revel in bringing out a
great product that does exactly what it is supposed to do, better
than anybody else, and for a
great price.
Given how well B&N has done in making a
great lit
eReader, we have to hope that Amazon has used the intervening time to improve more
than just the lighting.
The impact has the potential to be
greater than one might expect at first glance, especially given the unexpected success the chain has had in marketing their nook
eReader device against the more established Kindle.
