Thirty years ago, the true giants among snakes —
green anacondas, and reticulated and Burmese pythons — were all the rage.
Both groups of snakes have true giants, from
the green anaconda, a 30 - plus - foot reptile, to the Reticulated python, longer than the anaconda but less massive.
The green anaconda is the world's largest snake, yet is a popular pet, as you can see from a «pet green anaconda» sift on YouTube.
They were already crawling with Burmese or Indian python; reticulated python; northern and southern African rock python; amethystine or scrub python;
green anaconda; and Nile monitor lizard.
