ground almond meal?
The one I use is regular finely
ground almond meal (not de-fated).
Replace all - purpose flour with
ground almond meal or flour and a recipe instantly becomes both gluten - free and paleo.
Blanched almond flour:
Ground almond meal, or any other ground nut or seed meal should work (i.e. sunflower seeds, walnuts, pecans, etc.), though the flavor may be affected with any substitution.
This time, in a marriage of summer's prettiest blueberries, freshly
ground almond meal, delicious honey and bananas, we get a loaf of blueberry almond banana bread that's moist without being too wet, and crumbly but soft.
I made this recently, although using home
ground almond meal and home ground brown linseeds.
I use Bob Red Mill's blanched finely
ground almond meal — I do shift it but it as worked great.
I used four eggs, subbed tapioca flour for the coconut flour since I was out of coconut, and subbed Trader Joe's
ground almond meal (I pretty much exclusively use the TJ's almond meal when almond flour is called for, and have never had problems).

ground the heck out of it in my food processor to make a fine
almond meal, and still initially felt that it was a bit grainy (but liked the final result a lot).
For the crisp topping, I made one crisp using 1 cup coarsely
ground almonds and 1 cup
almond meal, and for the second crisp topping, I used 1 cup tigernut flakes and 1 cup
almond meal.

Or you can just buy
ground almonds (also known as
almond meal / flour) in some grocery stores or health food stores (use 1 cup (100 grams)
ground almonds).
You truly need a super finely
ground almond flour here, as if you use
meal your biscuits will turn out dense and oily.

grind them yourself than that's fine but I wouldn't sub
almond meal from raw
