The original recipe called for chicken, but since I had
ground turkey on hand I decided to make the burgers into Turkey Burgers instead.

Most recipes call for a pound of
ground meat, but if you decide to use
turkey, you can expect to have an extra four ounces
on hand.

You can use the
ground meat of your choice - sometimes I opt for pork, or
turkey, or even beef depending
on what's available in the freezer - and when added to whole grain pasta and beans it's a meal I feel really good about serving.
Feel free to replace the pork with
ground turkey or chicken, and if you don't have Chinese five - spice powder
on hand you can use allspice in its place.

turkey and OH MY did this recipe NOT dissappoint!!!
I really can't tell the difference in the
