groups are fighting for deeper levels of affordable housing in the plan and de Blasio received a victory over the weekend when a leading critic of the proposals,
Real Affordability for All, agreed to endorse the plan in exchange for a study to determine ways to make the proposals more affordable.
Real Affordability for All, a collective of more than 50 activist
groups like New York Communities for Change and Make the Road New York, blasted the agreement for not including enough affordable housing.
The spokesperson emphasized the
group supports Mr. de Blasio's affordable housing vision: «Our goal is to advance a shared vision for
real affordability and good jobs throughout the city.

Other
groups earlier today decided to shout and disrupt the City Hall event — a move that
Real Affordability for All does not support or condone in any way,» the spokesperson said.
Several dozen members of various community
groups organized under the coalition of «
Real Affordability for All» gathered on the steps of City Hall to voice their concerns about Mr. de Blasio's housing program, which aims to build and preserve 200,000 units of affordable housing over the next decade.
