Since 2010, M2M has trained a diverse, international
group of 49 League artists in the process
of creating large - scale
sculpture for outdoor
public spaces under the guidance
of master sculptor Greg Wyatt, resident artist at the Cathedral Church
of Saint John the Divine in Manhattan.
A sizable
group of rarely seen
sculptures will join well - known paintings to offer the most complete view yet offered to the
public of the Museum's collection in this period.

Instead
of being defeated by this situation, Luke decided to make good out
of a bad situation and proposed to James Balmforth, James Capper, Alex Chinneck and me to put on a
group exhibition, transforming his old studio briefly into a warehouse style exhibition space for the show entitled

Opening on May 24, Common Ground, a
group exhibition featuring
sculpture, installation, and performance, looks at how different works
of art approach the idea
of public sculpture and civic engagement.
Bringing together over 40 years
of Messager's installations, books, photographs, drawings and
sculptures, the exhibition curated by Rachel Kent will present a thematic
grouping of her creations to the Australian
public.
In 1963, a
group that included Mr. Forakis, Mark di Suvero, Robert Grosvenor and Forrest Myers started exhibiting their work, playing free jazz and discussing the future
of public sculpture in a floor at the top
of a loft building in Lower Manhattan near Park Place, where several
of them lived.
The Academy arose when a
group of artists, teachers and
public intellectuals (including, famously, Tom Wolfe incongruously paired with Andy Warhol) decided New York needed an École des Beaux - Arts rooted firmly in the tradition
of representational painting, drawing and
