Four of the big five banks saw turnover in the CEO suite, and three of them in particular — TD, with Ed Clark; RBC, with Gordon Nixon; and Scotiabank, with Rick Waugh — lost outspoken, influential heads who had ushered in an unprecedented era of
growth at their respective institutions.
