And while the U.S. is still one of the few countries in the world that doesn't
guarantee paid maternity leave, there are many encouraging signs that things are looking up for working moms.

Adopting supportive national policies and legislation — such as
paid maternity leave, breastfeeding breaks, and designated breastfeeding spaces — will help
guarantee that breastfeeding and working are not mutually exclusive.
