It's a contentious issue, and one that many feel is complicated by the heavy spending the National Rifle Association (NRA) and
other gun lobby groups invest in political races.
And Trump has often played into the
powerful gun lobby group's conceit that any reform of gun laws is a slippery slope that will inevitably lead to the total withdrawal of the right to bear arms.
Delta Air Lines Inc. and United Continental Holdings Inc. are among companies that cut ties with the NRA following online calls to boycott
the gun lobbying group.

the gun lobbying group.
The lawsuit asks the court to award unspecified monetary damages to the NRA and stop the state from prohibiting the insurance companies from doing business with
