None of them were total
gut jobs (
down to the studs), but some of them were pretty extensive.
I also counted on having a full
gut job on this property so even if they knock
down walls, steal everything, it is accounted for.
An extensive six - month
gut job included reconfiguring rooms, taking
down walls and ripping out dated elements (like the dropped ceiling in the kitchen) to create more open - concept spaces and better flow.
I hope to finally tackle our kitchen in the next year or so (a complete
gut job will happen, all the way
down to the studs and hopefully the original wood floors) but I hope it will look like yours when it's done.
