The next time you stumble upon this kind of person, enlighten him about the basics
of gym etiquette.
When I worked out at a gym, I hated January because I was fighting for space with people who didn't
know gym etiquette, didn't know what they were doing, and wouldn't be there in a month anyways.
Of the 2,000 people polled, 74 percent said fellow gym goers were guilty of
bad gym etiquette, and many implicated themselves as well: 49 percent admitted to having used water bottles and towels that weren't actually theirs; 33 percent revealed they exercise without deodorant; 18 percent fessed up to working out despite coughing, sneezing and being sick; and 16 percent flat - out said they don't wash their clothes between workouts.
I judge people by two simple things in a gym: Adherence to
gym etiquette.
If you are new to the gym you may not know what is proper
gym etiquette and what is not cool.
So take a towel to wipe the sweat from your brow or alternatively use it to wipe down the equipment and benches once you have finished using them,
gym etiquette!
