gyro's appeal is mostly
for gaming, allowing
for more precise motion
control and realistic navigation within virtual environments.
GYRO and Bulldog reached a standstill agreement in 2008; I doubt the issuance is being done
for control purposes.
You could get a traditional button -
control stage, motion
control stage,
gyro, IR camera, HD rumble, even a stage with 2 - player co-op minigames
for spilt Joy - Con play.
I think traditional
controls edge out motion
for me (nothing beats
Gyro aiming though), my only concern is when one archetype of a button layout becomes the industry standard and every game suddenly plays the same.
The
controls for the most part are good but I ran into a few issues here and there and thankfully the
gyro controls with the GamePad are optional because I didn't find them to be useful one damn bit when I tried using them with the grappling hook.
