I used
your habanero pickling recipe, but I simply closed the jars and put them in a dark place rather than processing them in boiling water, pressure canner, or putting them in the refrigerator.

Even with a bevy of new
recipes using the fiery fruit and the jelly, sauces and
pickled habaneros, my freezer still has 10 vacuum - sealed bags of
habaneros just waiting for another request from the Green Mountain State.
About a week ago I used your
recipe for
pickled habaneros to put up some mild yellow and hot skinny green peppers but forgot the water bath at the end.
