Tommy God
has already forgiven you for your sin the moment you asked Jesus into your life and confessed him as Lord. From that point he paid for your sin in full past present future. It is not sin that stops us from being
with the Lord so you are saved. The problem you are experiencing is the battle for your life in the here and now satan is out to destroy you and he knows our weaknesses. If you are honest there were already issues in your life that you struggled
with and never got the victory over.So where do you go from here as i found myself in the same situation i was a christian but walking according to the flesh.God does nt
change his mind he always loves us but because
of our choices we distance ourselves from God.The issue is that we like sin thats our wicked
hearts and to be fair we cant
change our nature only Christ can do that our old nature must be crucified
with Christ. The stumbling block is our pride we
have to admit that we cant do it For me that was terribly difficult i was so independent thinking i could do anything but the truth was a made a real mess
of things.I sense you are at a crossroads and are feeling desperate and confused. So as a brother in the Lord you need to confess your sin to God and tell him that you are weak -LCB- we all are -RCB- and that you cant do it in your strength -LCB- None
of us can -RCB- but ask him to send the holy spirit to help you deal
with the temptations and the sin that you struggle
with and he will help you to
change your life he will empower you as he did me.Rather than look at who you are look to Christ and walk in him and he will make you a new man and sin will not
have dominion over you.Jesus came to set us free from bondage.Having once been a slave to sin i know what it is like to
have been set free by the power
of God and that is what Christ is offering you today. All it takes is a desire to
change or repent and admit we cant do it and trust him to give you the strength to walk in him regards brentnz
The Second Vatican Council, in insisting in the document on Ecumenism that there can be no

To contrast the solemn splendor

Tim i found it liberating to just do what the Lord wants you to do i work within his boundarys and yes i attend church and enjoy it.I love the people and i love hearing the word and worshipping the Lord even if others are still bound up
with traditions thats not my walk thats theres. My focus is to do what the Lord wants me to do.There
have been times i
have said no to the pastor he does nt understand why i choose not to lead the worship.i query him as well regarding the idea that its not just performing a function because there is a need our
hearts have to be in the right place so that the Lord can use us but he did nt understand where i was coming from and thats okay because
of that i just said no until my
heart is right i am better not being involved in leading. But i am happy to be an encouragement to others in the worship team i havent wanted to be the leader i
have done that in the past.So my focus
has been just the singing and being part
of different worship teams i think the Lord
has other plans as the groups i am in seem to be
changing at the same time i am aware that i do nt to worry about
change as the Lord knows whats best.I used to be quite comfortable leading the music but that was before when i was operating in my own self confidence and pride. The Lord did such a huge
change in my life that i lost my self confidence and that is not a bad thing at all as my spiritual growth
has been incredible.The big
change was my identity moved from me and what i could do to knowing who i was in Christ and that he is my strength and confidence. Now i know that without him i can do nothing in fact i am dependent on his empowerment through his holy spirit all the time in everything. In the weekend i was asked to lead the music at another church i attend multiple churchs although i attend two regularly one
has services in the morning and one
has services in the evening so the two do nt really clash. In the weekend i was asked to lead the music its been two years since i did that and i was worried on how i
would go.All i can say is that it went really well and because i stepped out in Faith the Lord really blessed the morning to the congregation. The difference is knowing that i serve the Lord
with the gifts he
has given me but my
heart has to be right and when i do it in his way it builds up the body and it brings glory to him.May the Lord continue to show you what he wants you to do even though others may not understand your reasons i just want you to know that you do nt
have to pull away completely just work within the boundarys that the Lord gives you and do nt feel pressured by others expectations to do anything that feel uncomfortable.Be involved just as you feel lead by the holy spirit even if it is in a very minor way take small steps.regards brentnz
Jeremy
have been asking the holy spirit for his help
with this and in regards to the lame man that Jesus healed I do nt believe that sin was the issue for him just like the blind man was it his parents or did he sin the answer was neither but so that God
would be glorified. What was the sin that may
have been worse for him.The two situations are related
of the woman caught in adultery the key words being go and sin no more only two references in the bible and will explain later the lame man we see at first his dependency on everyone else for his needs he cant do it he is in the best position to receive Gods grace but what does he do
with it.Does he follow Jesus no we are told he goes to the temple and Jesus finds him now that he
has his strength to do things on his own what his response to follow the way
of the pharisees that is what is worse than his condition before so he is warned by go and sin no more.We get confused because we see the word sin but the giver
of is speaking to him to go another way means death.Getting back to the two situations
of the woman caught in adultery and the lame man here we see a picture
of our
hearts on the one our love for sin and on the other the desire to work out our salvation on our terms they are the two areas we
have to submit to God.My experience was the self righteousness was the harder to deal
with because it is linked in to our feelings
of self worth and self confidence so we
have to be broken so we are humble enough to realise that without God we can do nothing our flesh hates that so it is a struggle at first to
change our way
of thinking.brentnz
I pretty much agreed
with most
of what you
have said and i think that the sinners prayer
has been misused as a get out
of Jail free card.A couple
of things that people miss is that God is in charge. As soon as you offer yourself to God and accept Jesus Chris the holy spirit
has liberty to work on you.Because he loves us he will discipline us so that we do repent
of our sins.The downside
of living a walk like that you are a hypocrite until you admit your sinfulness the holy spirit can not help us because
of our pride. The second part was you talking about disciplining the flesh personally you cant discipline that which is corrupt our
hearts are deceitfully wicked we need new
hearts no amount
of effort on our part will transform our
hearts that is the work
of the holy spirit he
changes our
hearts so that we no longer desire to sin we
would rather serve the Lord
with all our
hearts instead.brentnz

Phrygian to me i sense that you are struggling
with issues in your mind that you cant reconcile and these issues are affecting what you believe in your
heart and therefore your faith in God.I
had something similar happen to me recently regarding the story
of the demon possessed man at one point the demons begged Jesus to cast them into the pigs does that mean that Jesus was implicated
with the work
of satan. It cast my mind into doubt and then i began to question who God is.I prayed and sort the holy spirit for an answer the answer i got was that Gods character never
changes he is always holy righteous and sovereign why else
would satan ask for his permission. So the answer was that he allowed satans purpose to prevail so that we can see that satans intention is always to destroy it may well
have been that the pigs were his anyway. As they were for the gentile nations who offered the pigs to their demon Gods.Just as satan can not
change who he is the destroyer the thief the liar God can not
change who he is when we realise that despite what we see going on in the world God is still the same yesterday today and forever. The time is coming when those that
have hurt others will be judged for there wickedness as we serve a holy and just God.Just as it was in the times
of Noah so it is
with this this generation that as the wickedness reachs its zenith then the Lord will return to judge the nations. He is coming again and we need to be ready it is not a time to be caught sleeping.brentnz
I agree
with you Tim, the premise
of the article leads one to believe that because LDS
has a big accredited university
with deep theological minds and some leader
of a big Christian seminary, again a deep theological mind, head knowledge not
heart knowledge, that Mormonism should be recognized as a stream
of Christianity. How Mormons differ is how they relate to Christ and the Holy Spirit.Only people who
have encountered Jesus and thus a
changed life, can be called an evangelical.Mormnism is man made religion. The Holy Spirit always points people to Jesus, not another man - Joseph Smith.Great moral people, who do lots
of good and build beautiful tabernacles, but then again the Pharisees did too.

Although I
've found it very cathartic to speak, vent and end occasionally rant about all things Arsenal, we need to act carefully and intelligently right now or we're going to get played by this club even worse than at present... the pro-Wengerites and the suits, who represent a considerable proportion
of the season ticket holders, don't want to believe that there is no plan and that Wenger
has mailed it in for several years now or that things are going to get much worse before they get better... why
would they... many
have spent a considerable sum buying some
of the highest priced tickets in the World... they want to
have a front row seat to see something special and to be seen doing so, which simply provides ample justification for the expense and the time invested... to many
of them, Wenger is the sun in their soccer universe... his awkward disposition, misplaced arrogance and his utter lack
of balls makes him a rather unusual cult figure, but the cerebral narrative seemed to embolden those who already felt pretty highly
of themselves... many might not even
of really liked football that much before his arrival and rarely games they weren't attending... as such, they desperately believe that Wenger, and only Wenger, can supply them
with their required fix... if he goes, they were wrong and that's a tough pill to swallow... they
would have to admit that they were duped... they will definitely resent whoever made them feel this way, but
of course it will be too late by then... so when we go overboard
with ridiculous comments bordering
of anarchy, it scares the shit out
of them and they shift their blame towards us rather than at those who really perpetrated this act
of treason... we aren't the enemy... we simply woke much earlier and the reason our comments
have gotten more vile in recent years is out
of utter frustration... in order for any real
change to occur at this club we need to bring as many supporters as possible
with us or the big money interests will fade and our ultimate objective will be lost... so it's time to focus on the head instead
of the
heart for now
He just can not keep up
with that performance in a weekly basis, and after today performance, I won't blame Wenger to
have the
change of heart to start Ramsey there and put Walcott on the right vs. Sunderland.
Hopefully,
with Girouds injury he will

I suppose it
has to do
with him being English maybe or Wenger
had a
change of heart and Welbeck was the only striker available on last day.
Chuba can be a strike partner
with Oliver, then bring in Mehrez or Draxler, and we can also bid for Barca's Munir then we can
have a great season, our pre-season last year was better than this, only to got beaten by west harm, so don't raise your hope high gunners, just be patient and pray for wenger to
have a
change of heart.
However, according to the Evening Standard, the former Montpellier forward is willing to fight for his place in Arsene Wenger's side,

The only thing he
has changed, stadium finances aside, is his obsession
with small and technical as the
heart of the team.
I just don t get how some here are happy
with ramsey playing as RW.The lad is good, he
has heart but he is not a RW.Welbeck and Walcot are and we are more dangerous when they play in this position.I fear Wenger will never
change and will always try to accomodate his favourites in the team.Today Ozil was useless, replace him by Welbeck and shift Ramsey in the middle, but no it
has to be a non favourite Coquelin who bring more than any
of them.I doubt Arsenal will win any PL title
with Maureeno in charge
of Chelshi as he is quite more astute on tactic than Wenger.Oh boy, you may always say runner up is not that bad.....
Like yesterday was as low as it gets for me as fan I didn't even care when Liverpool got 3 rd and fourth goals because we're dead our pride as fans is same as players we're just dead hurt, sad, weak and spineless then it gets better ox is going Chelsea today and now timers sanchez

New man Hodgson looked likely to go

Fans
have to make a choice btw personalities in kroenke and wenger and ARSENAL FC the club that will always be there long after we are all gone and the two tyrants gone... i thought pple in England as the world oldest democracy embrace
change in society as critical but am surprised to learn that there are fans in this grt nation that are lovers
with the status quo at this club present at the
heart of london... we were once a big club but we're not a big club anymore!!!

I live in hope and await
with baited breath as I read articles about players linked to the club but in my
heart of hearts I really don't see it ever

have no real idea on what we the fans can do to
change it....
