I ALWAYS wear
hair ties around my wrist, and they look terrible.
Secure your ponytail as normal, but instead of wrapping
the hair tie around your entire pony on the last wrap, pull only the bottom half of your ponytail through.
Then, wrap
the hair tie around until it feels secure, sliding the second bobby pin in to finish.
You can separate into 3 - 4 sections depending on how thick your hair is and even tie
a hair tie around the sections to keep it out of your way.
I always keep a ribbon
hair tie around.
You can always find me without earrings on and most times the only type of bracelet that I wear is
a hair tie around my right wrist lol.

Or just take your pony tail, twist it, then wrap it
around and
tie it with a
hair tie.
Whatever it's
tied around your neck, your bag, on your ankle or your wist, or even worn in your
hair, a silk scarf brings a fresh twist to basic looks.
Split the bottom section of
hair again into 2 parts, wrap them
around the top section, and
tie them together with a

I gently pulled on to the top section to add some volume, and wrapped the length of the ponytail

Another thing I do during oppressively hot weather is

Pro tip: Wrap a bungee (a
hair tie with hooks on the ends like these from RickyCare),
around your ponytail base so you don't lose volume in your tail.
Next, you need a bandana to

hair or
around your neck (this one comes in 5 other prints).
I laid mine flat, started folding from one corner until it was one long strip, and then
tied it in a bow
around my
hair tie.
Just start a loose french braid at the crown of your head,
tie it into a pony at the nape of your neck, and wrap
hair around the elastic to cover it up.
To hide the
hair tie, wrap a piece of
hair around the
hair tie and secure it with a bobby pin.
Pro tip from this look: try a high ponytail / braid hybrid by looping a length of
hair around the top of it and securing it just the way you would hide a
hair tie.
This look falls squarely in my preppy chic vibe, to make it more boho you could add a scarf
tied around your
hair; or for a more trendy look a big pair of round sunglasses would do the trick.
Tease some
hair around the crown, and
tie it in a pony along the base of the neck.
and things to keep in mind while wearing a hat along with your scarf make sure to keep few things in mind: i.e. to
tie a low bun that your
hair but is not an obstacle while you pull your hat down, to buy a wider and bigger size of hat as you will be wrapping a scarf
around your head, prefer buying thin scrap so that give your hat enough space to adjust
around your head.
After piling her
hair into a messy French twist, hairstylist Chris McMillan wrapped a piece of black elastic
around her head twice,
tying it off in a neat knot at the nape of her neck.
Now take the
