The Smooth - Faced variety has short, soft, smooth
hairs around the muzzle and slightly longer hair elsewhere.
The coat of this breed is fluffy in appearance and longer
hair around the muzzle and eyes give this dog an old man type appearance.
Areas especially affected include
the hair around the muzzle and eyes.
Physical signs include: cloudy eyes, hearing loss; thinning fur; feels the cold; loose skin; prominent spine, shoulders and hips; loss of muscle tone; stiff joints or lameness and gray
hairs around the muzzle and in coat.
Spots of white spotting and black
hairs around the muzzle may also be discovered within the breed.

It is only after several layers do I begin to add details such as the small
